LPD looking for suspect after armed robbery at Dash Food Mart


LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) responded to a call of an alleged armed robbery at Dash Food Mart on Monday.

On November 18 around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a call at the 2000 block of 12th Street when an individual told officers about an alleged armed robbery.

Upon arriving on the scene, officers reviewed security footage confirming an armed robbery had occurred. However, investigators were unable to get a clear picture of the suspect’s appearance due to the poor quality of the footage.

LPD is still investigating the incident along with gathering information about the individual’s identity.
