ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia High School League has announced its 2024 Class 3 all-state volleyball team and Hidden Valley senior outside hitter, libero, and setter Caleigh Ponn is the Class 3 player of the year.
The four-time 1st team selection and two-time state player of the year finished the season with 1,282 spikes, 550 kills, and 69 aces.
Ponn led the Hidden Valley Titans to back-to-back Class 3 state titles and is now committed to Kansas State University. Ponn also holds VHSL records in career kills, spikes in a season, and spikes in a match.
