Furry Friends: Darlin deserves a forever home

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Each week WFXR News highlights adoptable pets filling up animal shelters across Southwest and Central Virginia.

This week, on Tuesday, January 28, Aimee Brown with the Franklin County Humane Society brought Darlin in for Furry Friends!

Darlin is a sweet ten-year-old female dog who weighs about 55 pounds.

Don’t let her age fool you; this girl is spunky and active! She can easily put a smile on your face with her silly antics. While she would love a lap to sit and cuddle in, she also enjoys going on walks and runs. Darlin would make a great companion on any outdoor adventure!

Darlin does well with other dogs and children. She also knows “sit” and does great during car rides. Overall, she would make a great addition to almost any home.

You can learn more about Darlin or any other adoptable pets at the Franklin County Humane Society Planned Pethood Clinic and Adoption Center by following this link.
