Franklin County YMCA opens to community for warming, other amenities during outage



FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — As power outages after the winter storm continue to leave thousands in the cold, the Franklin County YMCA has opened its facility to the community for shelter and other amenities.

Members and non-members are welcome to shower, warm up, and charge their devices. The pool is also open starting at noon. You’re encouraged to bring your family and share the information with anyone who needs it.

The Franklin County YMCA is located at 235 Technology Drive in Rocky Mount.
