Community Support Centers open following winter weather for residents



ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The City of Roanoke is reminding residents of Community Support Centers opening for residents following the winter weather that passed through the region this week.

Residents can find shelter on Friday, February 14 at the following locations:

  • The Salvation Army: Open fromĀ 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • The Hope Center: Open fromĀ 11 AM to 9 PM

The Roanoke Public Library, during regular hours, is also offering residents a place to seek warmth, a chance to charge their phones, and find a book to cozy up with.
