BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. — Multiple suspects crashed their cars running from deputies Saturday morning.
The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of people trying to break into cars in the Farmington neighborhood in Forest around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, November 16.
On the scene, deputies saw four vehicles speeding out of the subdivision, including one that had been previously reported stolen out of Lynchburg.
The four vehicles fled from the officers, one hitting a Bedford County Sheriff’s Deputy vehicle that was not involved in the chase. Two of the vehicles wrecked on Thomas Jefferson Road and another crashed in the City of Lynchburg.
All the suspects in the wrecked cars ran off.
BCSO received more reports of theft from multiple vehicles throughout Saturday morning.
The Sheriff said that one car, a 2024 white Chevrolet Malibu has been reported stolen and has not been recovered yet.

The Sheriff’s Office urged people to remove valuables from and lock their cars when they are not nearby. They say the suspects in this larceny case have ignored locked cars.
