Balico LLC. requests application withdrawal of data centers, power plant in Pittsylvania Co.

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Balico makes requests to withdraw their application for the data centers and power plant.

Balico LLC. requests a withdrawal of an application on Monday, November 4 in efforts to rezone 2,233,38 acres in the Banister and Callands-Gretna election district in hopes of allowing an 84 two-foot story data center along with a 3,500 MW natural gas power plant.

This will remain to be decided under the Pittsylvania County Planning Commission to vote on the withdrawal of the application which will occur at the meeting on November 7. However, the hearing will be public and will not discuss the matter.

Allegedly, Balico wants to revise and submit the proposal according to the letter from Balico’s attorney Steve Gold.
