ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Angels of Assisi is hosting their biggest adoption event of the year at the Berglund Center in Roanoke.
The Pet Expo Adopt-A-Thon will be on Saturday, November 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. where five local shelters will attend bringing adoptable puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, and other small pets.
There will also be 10 pet-related vendors to share items and information about for current and new pet owners to use. Queen’s Vegan Cafe will have a truck serving treats for attendees along with the chance to participate in donating blood at the event.
