Amherst Co. deputies search for suspects after break-ins


AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Amherst County Sheriff’s Office says four newly built homes were broken into on S. Coolwell Road Saturday night. The suspects are believed to have stolen valuable items and caused significant property damage.

Officials shared pictures of a truck they say was driven by a man and an unknown passenger. They identify it as a Ford Ranger or Mazda B Series with a metal toolbox on the right-side rear fender.
