19-year-old arrested after social media bomb threat allegedly made in Lynchburg



LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Lynchburg Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a social media bomb threat investigation in Lynchburg.

On Tuesday, November 26 at 8:50 a.m. the department responded to a bomb threat at the J Crew Customer Service and Distribution Center at Ivy Cres Road.

The bomb threat was found on Instagram and allegedly posted by a part-time employee at the facility.

Officers quickly investigated the situation and made contact with the person believed to have made the threat.

19-year-old Nakayla Foster was arrested after an investigation and has been charged with Threat of Arson, Explosives, and Bombs under the statute for offenders 15 years or older.

Foster is being held without bond at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
